For years VNA has helped people remain at home.  With today's healthcare changes, more people need care at home.  Often this is overwhelming for the family.

The Visiting Nurse Association has a staff of highly trained healthcare professionals and home health aides.

VNA Nurses provide care even in the most difficult situations... helping those recover from strokes, heart attacks, cancer and other illnesses.
 

REFERRALS TO VNA TO ARRANGE FOR HOME HEALTH CARE

VNA Receives referrals from physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals, social service agencies, churches, family members friends and neighbors.

Following a referral, VNA nurses provide a free assessment of patient's needs.  When care is needed, the VNA nurse works with the patient and physician to develop a customized Plan of Care and provide quality, compassionate care in the home environment.

VNA Therapists provide complete services including physical, speech, and occupational therapy.
 

PEACE OF MIND

Home Care assists individuals in maintaining their independence. 

Home Health Aides help with baths, nail care, skin care, shaving, linen changes, and meal preparation.

Our Medical Social Workers assist the patient and family to navigate through the social services system and entitlements.  Counseling can improve the patient's adjustment and compliance to medical regimen.
